We currently have an opportunity for a Lead Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our close-knit team in Perth. As a Lead Consultant, you will balance leadership responsibilities such as mentoring consultants, quality assurance and account management, with hands-on case management, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the rehabilitation services provided by KINNECT.

KINNECT offer the full scope of Occupational Health Services, from Pre-Employment Medicals to Injury Management and Injury Prevention services. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD WORKPLACE REHABILITATION CONSULTANT

Mentoring: Provide guidance, support and mentorship to junior consultants within KINNECT. Share expertise, best practices and clinical insights to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews of case strategy and documentation to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Provide training and resources to address any identified gaps.

Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Collaborate with Team Managers and the State Manager to identify opportunities for account growth and manage contract negotiations.

Managing a Caseload of Clients: Maintain a caseload of clients requiring workplace rehabilitation services. Conduct thorough assessments, implement personalised case strategies and monitor client progress.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Current registration with AHPRA/ESSA/ ASORC/RCAA is essential.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working within the Western Australian Workers’ Compensation scheme, either in Workplace Rehabilitation or Claims Management.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing rehabilitation plans and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a compassionate and client-centred approach to service delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
