ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Team Leader you will assist the NSW Manager to provide leadership and direction to the region and manage all aspects of operations, ensuring that business objectives are met, as well as:

  • Manage rehabilitation consultants in the region to achieve improved personal, client and business outcomes
  • Assist the Manager to oversee client accounts and ensure they are proactively managed
  • Promote the growth and development of the Newcastle team
  • Undertake business development activities to grow existing and new business.
  • Achieve own billable case load targets, working with a variety of stakeholders - injured clients, employers, insurers, treating health practitioners - to facilitate a safe and sustainable return to work for your clients.

This position offers the opportunity to mentor a team with the support you will need from the Manager.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a driven and energetic professional with a passion for achieving quality rehabilitation outcomes. You will have a personable approach to build strong relationships with key customers and employees to manage stakeholder expectations.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Qualifications & Registration in either Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
  • Current full registration/membership with AHPRA, RCAA, ASORC or ESSA
  • At least 5 years’ experience in an allied health role and minimum 3 years in occupational rehabilitation
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising staff and/or experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to travel (current vehicle and drivers licence compulsory)
  • Ability to confidently liaise with workers, insurers, medical practitioners, case managers and employers.
  • Excellent attention to detail, good organisation & time management skills
  • A strong focus on solutions and a proven ability to identify and leverage opportunities
